Adding another feather to its excellent service in the mobile phone industry, Blackberry has come up with yet another gem, the Blackberry Bold 9900. At this point we do not know a relase date for this Blackberry to hit the Afghan Wireless market. The new addition was announced in May 2011 and is now available in the market. The new blackberry 9900 comes with several new modifications and additions that give a different level all together.

The phone comes with a TFT capacitive screen and the very own QWERTY keypad. The presence of touch sensitive controls, optical track pad and proximity sensors for power saving are few other excellent features in the mobile.

The new phone runs on Blackberry’s own operating system, the BlackBerry OS 7.0. The 1.2 GHz processor means the working gets better and faster without any issues at all.  The phone has a 768 Mb Ram and comes with 8 Gb internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 Gb.

The camera on the phone is of 5 megapixels and gives pretty good resolution of 2593×1944 pixels. The camera also has LED flash and other features such as geo tagging, face detection and image stabilization. The mobile comes with 3G HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EGDE and GPRS for connectivity.

Unlike the previous Blackberry models, in this one the leatherette has given its way to carbon fiber panel. The sides of the phone have also been changed and give a mate finish hence the gripping and handling becomes much more convenient. This is the best built Blackberry so far as there seems to be no wobbles anywhere and glitches of earlier models taken care of very nicely and making it the ultimate Blackberry.
